My 51st Entry..

Dear Beautiful readers,

What a coincidence! It's 51st birthday of Malaysia and it's my 51st posting within a month!
Ermm...some might say that I purposely did this, but I didn't!
I didn't even count on how many postings that I have done so far, until someone told me that I managed to post 50 writings in a month!

Well...to celebrate this, I guess I will combine multiple topics on this particular final posting for the month of August!

1) Books
Remember I told you guys earlier that i bought two books yesterday? Well..it's more to the love at first sight!
The first book (an illustrated biography about Tun M) was quite an interesting piece indeed. Some people are not really keen on reading heavy materials like a biography of a political figure or even any non-fictions! But this one is really an eye opener and I managed to flip through a couple of pages last night before off to bed.
Another book, New Malaysian essays 1 was another stimulating book, a compilation of intelligent writings by special writers especially Amir Muhammad (love his writing on Unwelcomed Words!)

2) Budget 2009
In a way, I don't think it's really nice outcome (not against it though, but i didn't really find it's quite a nice package, in overall). Earlier, I expected that they might give more tax relief, but an increase of RM 50 from RM350 in regards to the individual tax relief wasn't that inviting at all!

Furthermore, in regards to the electricity bills less than RM 20 (mine is RM 15 per month, in average...so as a result, am I entitled? Heheh), I don't think this is fair...if we're looking in totality.

But overall, I know that the Government's doing their best, but yet again...in my humble opinion and my two cents' worth of comment, I don't really keen / fond on this Budget 2009.

3) Using nut to increase your sexual prowess?
I read The Star this morning and one of the articles was regarding one guy in Johor Bahru who used nut (initially i thought it's nut as in kacang, but actually nut as in "nuts & bolts" when I saw the pic!) to increase his sexual abilities and ended up got the nut stuck at his genital. Ouchhhh! Double ouchhh!
But he's creative anyway (I wonder where he got this knowledge..), I am sure that he obtain the nut from the workshop that he's currently working ;-)
Bijak kan?

4) Terawih
InsyaAllah, I will try to improve my terawihs this year, hopefully it will be better than the previous year(s). Amin...

P/S: I wonder whether my blog is really that interesting...Comments anyone?

SEMPURNA

Dear Beautiful readers,

I am so bloody disorganised today! I should have put this particular posting together with the posting titled LOVE. Then it looks more synchronised and relevant!

P/S: I love both versions - Andra & the Back Bone and also Gita Gutawa

Kau begitu sempurna
Dimataku kau begitu indah
Kau membuat diriku akan slalu memujimu

Disetiap langkahku
Kukan slalu memikirkan dirimu
Tak bisa kubayangkan hidupku tanpa cintamu
Janganlah kau tinggalkan diriku
Takkan mampu menghadapi semua
Hanya bersamamu ku akan bisa
[Reff:]Kau adalah darahku
Kau adalah jantungku
Kau adalah hidupku
Lengkapi diriku
Oh sayangku, kau begitu
Sempurna... Sempurna...

Kau genggam tanganku
Saat diriku lemah dan terjatuh
Kau bisikkan kata dan hapus semua sesalku
Janganlah kau tinggalkan diriku
Takkan mampu menghadapi semua
Hanya bersamamu ku akan bisa
[Reff:]Kau adalah darahku
Kau adalah jantungku
Kau adalah hidupku
Lengkapi diriku
Oh sayangku, kau begitu
Sempurna... Sempurna...

Kau genggam tanganku

Dear Beautiful readers,

I know this is a bit outdated, but I'm always looking for a copy of the Indonesian version of movie CINTA.
And I got it yesterday!

For those who haven't seen the movie, here is the synopsis:

Here are Nugroho and Lestari who are to meet by accident in their later years of their life. Nugroho suffers from Alzheimer and Lestari with her affection for him accepts Nugroho’s condition.

Here are Tere and Awin. A successful writer who meets a shop attendant in a bookstore and falls in love with him. As he is worried that love has finally arrived, she opens his eyes saying that love does not have to have boundaries.

Here are Gilang and Miranda, a young couple in their eight year of marriage with their daughter Icha, an Autistic child who needs both her parents around for her needs. Besides the fact that Gilang and Miranda have to accept the fact that their marriage is having a problem. Finally Gilang lets go of Miranda only to find his true love in what is a surprise to him.

As Fate brings them all together, in the hustle and bustle of Jakarta, they meet in the corners of their lives which is filled with surprises, being led by something that has been said to be blind but as a matter of fact it has eyes that us humans do not own …LOVE
P/S: By the way, I always love J.A.K.A.R.T.A...
Hope to go there again

Wall E

Dear Beautiful readers,
I forgot to add up that yesterday, one of my "lone ranger" activities yesterday was watching a movie - Wall E.
Another product from PIXAR. I can't say that I am very big fan of cartoons / animated movies, but this one was worth watching! Suitable for adult...definitely!

Lone Ranger on Merdeka eve..

Dear Beautiful readers,

Sad title huh? Well...I don't mind though, it's not really "sad" anyway, and I got used to it!

And guess what, it's a shopping spree time!

Well...I didn't really plan to spend some of my "money", it's more to the fact that I just want to kill my time, being a "loner" during this long weekends and retail therapy is one of the biggest problem solver at this point of time! On top of that, I have to make some necessary arrangements with the potential "door gifts" provider for our next coming big event to be held in mid October. I have to do it fast, or else the Management will get mad easily...

Since I got a sale invitation at one of this popular outlets (they called me, of course I don't want to miss the 3 days merdeka sale, who knows that I can get good bargains!) and as expected, yes...I did grab some interesting items...And after that, I had lunch (again...I was all by myself!) ;(

MY LUNCH

Two pair of jeans, 2 dress shirts and a pair of brown pants

2 hours later, I moved to another mall (for another "killing time" activities). I know that there will always be a lot of people (what do I expect on weekends kan?). I managed to grab another set of interesting items, books and DVDs. Sekali sekala...bukan selalu kan?

Reached home almost 10 p.m after having dinner at the usual makan place.

My humble dinner

I know that now...people (the friends etc) are having fun, attending parties, countdown for the Merdeka. I am not really interested in this "countdown" activities, but being invited to a party is something that I couldn't miss!

But...

No party(ies) or makan2 session whatsoever are currently held here..

And again, I am all by myself tonite...

P/S: Care to shop some more? Hehehehe

Coffee Session

Dear Beautiful readers,

Another unproductive day (in terms of work related), but more to running here and there, attending meeting, discussion & briefings.

First and foremost, we had another pot luck / makan session at my office, as we were celebrating one of our "most senior citizen's staff"s birthday. We had a small party, unfortunately I forgot to bring my camera and thus, I didn't manage to snap a few pics (didn't want to use my E71)! ;-)

Later after work, I have to rush to Starbucks as I was invited for a coffee session organised by them (Refer my earlier posting titled "Coffee, Tea or Me?") at 5.30 p.m. I was slightly late, and of course, they have already started. They placed me with two American guys and an American lady, (I guess, two of them are couples, as they came with cute kids too). They were quite friendly and I was quite surprised that there were also American in this small town (i can consider my current place is quite small, as compared to KL).

I got the goody bag, filled with a mug, coffee beans and the passport. Overall, I guess.. this session is similar to wine tasting session (although I haven't been into any, I don't drink anyway...hehehe). At least, i did gather some knowledge in regards to the world of coffee! (I can't really say that I am avid coffee drinker!)

Shortly after that, I went to the bus station to meet those buddies who are leaving for KL for the long weekends treats. Unfortunately, I won't be able to do the same as I have to work from Sunday to Tuesday. Sabar je laa!
And now, me at home...enjoying my night.

P/S: Remember my previous posting (in my old blog) regarding the "half brother" of Starbucks Coffee? Malaysians are creative....

Riana Green - Part 4

Dear Beautiful readers,
Some of the pics that i have "cilok" from the website (nak snap from the showroom pun..susah skit!)
P/S: Love the "open shower concept". Notti huh?

Riana Green - Part 3

Dear Beautiful readers,
Ever wonder why i put the title as Part 3?

Ermm.."thanks" to my previous blog, things went haywire! I didn't know why.. I have put the previous 2 entries and it was well-written, but later...arghh, nevermind!

But for some updates, let's see whether I can recall...

"I can't wait for my love shack to be completed. InsyaAllah, it'll be completed by end of next year.."

P/S: Kena simpan duit..

September - Upcoming events!

Dear Beautiful readers,

I love September.

And it's one of my favourite months!

And this time, I guess it'll be particularly a bit special.

Why? Let's see..(the hints only..)

1) Time to menahan lapar and dahaga (the whole month, perfect!)
2) Ehem...different "first" number? World Trade Centre?
3) Time to proof something ?(potential staff?)

Arghh...whatever it is, this month will be a bit lovely for me. I should try to plan something special, just to pamper my own goodself!

Blah...blah...blah

Dear Beautiful readers,

For the past 3 days, I was a bit unproductive but managed to read some relevant, information articles for my own benefit. Anyway, I guess it's all because of the fact that all the big bosses were not in the office to "kacau" me.. Jahat kan?

We had an early Merdeka Celebration at office today (a bit blah though...) not as "gempaq" as previous years. But it's not really a big deal for me, celebration is just a mere celebration..the thought that counts right?

Had a meeting with my team in the afternoon for the updates on the next upcoming big event to be held and our Company have to sponsor that event. Oh gosh...i guess, me and the gang might be quite occupied, running here and there to handle and do the pre-arrangement for the event. Anyway, I guess we can do it (special thanks to SF and Zura for being good sidekicks!)

I know this entry might particularly a bit boring, probably there's nothing much happening as before (macam ler sebelum nih happening sangat kan?) Hehehehe

P/S: Any ideas for the theme gift? Arghhh!

Happy Birthday E!

Dear Beautiful Readers,

It's E's birthday! We had delicious ikan bakar during lunch and at the time of writing, I just came back from small party organised by us at the local makan place.
It's was simply H.A.P.P.E.N.I.N.G!
I wish E Many Happy Returns and Long Life!

P/S: Definitely a cool birthday....and the donuts were bloody good!

Coffee, Tea or Me?

Dear Beautiful readers,

I was craving for cake and a cup of coffee last nite and I didn't know why.
Probably it's just "once-in-a-lifetime-moment"? I don't know..

So I drove off to the nearby Starbucks and without wasting much time, I placed the order. And there she is, the same barista (she's kinda cute..)

Barista: Lama tak nampak?
Me: Biasa laa...tak boleh selalu datang ;-)
Barista: Yeah (she's still blushing)

And I ordered. Grande Caramel Macchiato and....
Cake? Ermm...wait a minute! The cakes were not so "inviting"! She suggested Cajun Chicken pastry but I chose Chicken Pie instead.

Barista: Errmm...u free tak on the 29th?
Me: 29th Friday kan? I keje on Friday
Barista: FYI, we'll be having a coffee session with selected customers on that date. We'll start at 5.30 p.m. onwards. So I would like to invite you to come and join us. You'll get knowledge on coffee beans, and we'll give you free mug and a packet of coffee beans!
Me: Interesting...but not so sure whether I can make it or not. Ermm..i kena cuti lah camtuh
Barista: Takpe, just fill in your name and phone number and we'll call you again to reconfirm.
Me: OK! Sounds good! Looking forward for that

It sounds interesting. Hope that I can make it after work on that day!

Cool Sunday

Dear Beautiful readers,

Another relaxing Sunday.
"Accidentally" went for a breakfast with Shid, Reen & G. Topic for the day - N & Sue's future wedding, which will be in my hometown. So I might have to arrange visit to my home, make other necessary arrangement etc etc. ;-)

Later after that, they were off to meet another friend to buy some stuff at the mall and I went off to get a hair cut. I am quite a regular at this salon and the shampoo girl kept asking me the same question, such as:

Shampoo girl: You ada pegi gym ke? Ada muscle nih.. (when she massaged my shoulder)
Me: Ada laa skit2, simple exercise. But not as "active" as before!
Shampoo girl: Ok laa, kalau tak exercise, u takkan ada this muscle, banyak different..(Chinese slang)
Me: *Senyum*

Well, that's a difference between your own honest opinion and also other people's opinion. Sometimes, people think this way and you might think the opposite. I appreciate both compliments and feedbacks (both negative / positive). It's good for my own wellbeing.

P/S: Should I start my new fitness regime this Monday?

Foot Reflexology

Dear Beautiful readers,

After having dinner all by myself (a nice vege fried riceI) at the nearby cosy Indian restaurant, I met Kar at the foot reflexology centre. We had a one hour foot massaging session, which was quite good! (it's my second time here)
The funny thing was our masseurs hail from the mainland China, and guess what, of course they'll converse in the pure Mandarin dialect! Kar said she also not that fluent in Mandarin, but able to understand a number of phrase. Being me who is totally suck in Chinese dialects, I just keep my mouth shut and asked Kar to translate whatever they were talking. Another funny thing was, even this is my 2nd time, I couldn't stand the ticklish and painful sense, probably because my foot is really aching. I can't stop laughing whenever the masseur "tickles" me!

Anyway, i'll make a frequent visit to this place, probably at least once month.

And at the same time, should have started my new exercise regime!

Wikipedia:
Reflexology, or zone therapy, is the practice of massaging, squeezing, or pushing on parts of the feet, or sometimes the hands and ears, with the goal of encouraging a beneficial effect on other parts of the body, or to improve general health.

P/S; Laughing is always the best medicine..

MONOPOLY World Edition!

Dear Beautiful readers,

The results of those cities which will be on the board of the new MONOPOLY World Edition has been revealed. This was based on the votes taken online, from all over the world!

The chosen cities are as follows:

You guys now what are the colour codings are for right? Meaning...Montreal is the most expensive spot!
Where is Riga anyway?

P/S: I will grab a copy of that! Let's do it! Oh, by the way, according to Wikipedia :
Riga, the capital of Latvia, is situated on the Baltic Sea coast on the mouth of the river Daugava. Riga is the largest city in the Baltic states. The Historic Centre of Riga has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the city is particularly notable for its extensive Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) architecture, which UNESCO considers to be unparalleled anywhere in the world

A tiring outing session!

Dear Beautiful readers,

It's such a tiring day..

Whenever I had this charity program every saturday;once every month, I'll be a bit tired. Yes, I am tired and with another tumit aching!

We were at the theme park since 0900 and finished at 1700 hours. It was a hot day and the kids were getting more stubborn,"day-dreaming" and couldn't care less as the time getting nearer to the end. I was quite pissed off, in a way, but managed to "control" myself. Thanks to a few eye candies that were in the same theme park! (hahahah, naughty!)

Anyway, I am not going to compare between the urban and rural kids, as I might be bias and some of you might not agree with me.

Overall, it's a lesson learnt. They were 8 of us, and we managed to handle all the 80 kids. Kudos to us, and i know that we deserve a good rest!

P/S: Planning to pamper myself tonite, another foot reflexology moments! Kar & G might join me later.

Cluedo Nite!

Dear Beautiful Readers,

Note: This writing was meant for yesterday's happenings i.e. Friday ;)

TGIF!

Another not-so-productive day, but nevertheless, I did manage to complete whatever tasks that I have to do for the day. Probably I am looking forward for the weekend, since I'll be involved in the charity program with the nearby school.

We (me and the team) managed to complete the final preparation for the next day's event, which will be held in one of theme parks in our area. And later that nite, me and the usual suspects (i.e. regular buddies) had our Cluedo nite at the nearby kopitiam.

We used my new cluedo and so far, I am suck in this game and G (thanks to his alertness, wittyness and of course, being so detail! Sorry G!) became the winner of my virgin Cluedo!

P/S: I should have came out with this particular posting last nite (i.e. right after Cluedo) but I was so damn tired and have to wake up early for the charity program the next morning.

Back to Reality Part 2

Dear Beautiful readers,

I went to Tesco right after work to buy some stuff for the charity event to be held this coming Saturday. Well..I am all by myself since my colleagues weren't able to join. Managed to grab a few good stuff although I have overspent but nevermind, kira sedekah je laa..

Unfortunately, while looking for the relevant stuff, one of thousand TESCO customers on that evening pat on my back and asked:

"Dik, this thing nak cari kat mana?"

And shockingly, I answered: "Sorry I don't work here.."

And there he goes, malu kut. Let's blame my "uniform" for this moment! Hahaha

But i managed to smile, as this was the second time. Previously, it happened in Tesco as well.
The same TESCO!

Back at home. I bet there was an electric trip while I was away as I couldn't switch the main living room lights. Thank god there's no funny smells from the fridge. I will always make sure there's not many vulnerable food at home if I'll be away i.e. outstation.

And hour later, I drove off to S's cafe. Hmm..there he was, looking down and upset.

Me: How are u?

S: I am fine. But I want to tell you something.

Me: Errmm..yes?

S: See that board

Me: (in my heart) Oh gosh..

S: Yeah, bad huh?

Pity S...hope u take a good care of yourself. I don't know what else to comment. If I am in your shoes pun, I will...arghhhhhhhhhhhhh!

P/S: Be strong S, u know u can rely on me if you need someone to talk.

Back to Reality Part 1

Dear Beautiful readers,

I woke up at 4 a.m. this morning as I have to rush to KLIA to catch my flight and at the same time have to change my ticket. U know why? Here's the story..

"I was busy packing my stuff the night before and later that I realized the departure time from KL to my destination was bloody wrong! Damn! It was 10 p.m. and I don't know whether I have ample time to go to Mas Office at KL Sentral and changed the ticket. But luckily, I managed to change the ticket via the phone but still..I have to go to the office and re-confirm/validate the new ticket. It was such a hassle!"

Thank God I managed to wake up (i can say that I can be quiet a morning person, most of the time, if I have too!) Grabbed a cab and we shot directly to KL Sentral. Informed G that I'll be meeting him for breakfast at McD. Quite a meal!

Arrived at my destination roughly around 8.45 a.m. and took another cab to my workplace. The driver was quite talkative so as usual I don't mind layan talking with him.

9.30 a.m. : I am back at work. It's such a nice feeling (perasan ke aku nih?) as my current colleagues are kind of looking forward for my return (probably they'll be asking some "favour" from me?..hehehe)

However, I couldn't really concentrate myself at work, probably due to fatigue and at the same time i have to 'readjust" my timing. Still suffering kinda bad hangover though...I realized that I got 2 new colleagues. Nice planning!

Later in the afternoon, my other boss told me another "unwanted" story. He said that he just got the news from our HQ that most probably I won't be placed in my HQ! Fuck!! Instead I'll be transferred to another subsidiary, damn it! Anyway, I haven't received the finalised later and hope that this won't be materialized.

Arrived home from work almost 8 p.m. I am planning to go to S's cafe tonight.

To be continued...

B

Dear Beautiful readers,

Remember B? Well...I did talk about him in my last blog (which is now no longer exist, unfortunately!). I knew that he'll also be at the conference that I am currently attending. And I text-ed him.

Me: A'kum. Hang attend tak conference nih?

B: Aku balik office jap, kena jaga booth kat sini. Nanti petang kita jumpa? I will give you a call.

Me: Baik encik.

And I met B around 1715 hours. B didn't change much, but I have changed a lot. At least now, I am as tall as him..in a way. But he always maintains his good and exotic looks! Grrrr!

Well...I met him for for a mere 30 minutes as both of us have things to be done later. But I did enjoy catching up things with him - old stories, about our friends, family etc etc. Well, we attended the same school anyway.

Later, K called. I didn't expect him to call. But well, thanks to him. Appreciate that. I guess he's not a mere cheap labour.

I'll be leaving for my workplace tomorrow morning, catching up the earliest flight. Well..that's normal, and I have to rush back to the office.

P/S: I can't wait to move back to KL...

My new toy!

Dear Beautiful readers,
Am i crazy? Well...i don't know whether it's an impulse buying or not, but I am kinda fall in love with my new toy! The big boy toy! My new gadget ;-)

Went to KLCC and I grabbed this "masterpiece". My current one is kinda bulky (but it's still in good use..)

Chit Chat

Dear Beautiful readers,

Around 5.30 p.m. I had a "chit-chat session" with my future boss and the HR reps. I thought it's some kind of an informal chat but it turned out (from my point of view) to be quite an assessment! Gosh..thank god it was quite smooth sailing and I was pretty Ok with that. I can say that...everything went quite well.

They asked me a lot about how I've dealt with all these stresses and the challenges that I have faced in managing the subordinates. Basically, it's more to knowing me better as they were trying to assess whether I am the right candidate to sit for the position (it's an upgrade anyway...kalau ada rezeki, Alhamdulillah).

Nevertheless, I do have another problem. It's more to the fact that my advisor is currently charting my career progression in another direction. So I am sort of in dilemma. Which one should I choose? Should I meet them and explain everything? Arghh..I don't know. I have to be careful in explaining all the facts and highlighting my preferences. I don't want to become a spoilt brat (I am not one anyway...used to be (maybe! hahaha).

Whatever it is, kalau ada rezeki and berkat doa parents/friends/myself, it'll be on my side.
Thank you everyone.

P/S: Amy, thanks for all the support!

Pavi - 2nd conquest!

Dear Beautiful readers,

As promised and planned yesterday, I went to Pavi again tonight ;-)

Had a dinner and later followed by coffee with ER. It's quite nice actually and definitely KL changed a lot!

But I proceed further, let me tell you what had actually happened last night.

"It was around 12 midnight and all of sudden I felt so damn hungry. I shouldn't eat anyway but I didn't know why I felt so hungry. Let's blame the spicy mee mamak that I had at Pavi Food Republic with Sid yesterday (should haven't eaten this, pity me!) But luckily, I have my meehoon that I bought earlier from COld Storage. Another sad moment eh?"

I text-ed G while waiting for ER at Pavi. Coincidentally, G was also in Pavi! So we went to shop a bit and guess what? A sum of money gone for this beautiful pair of Adidas Superstar sneakers ;-)

Anyway I think I saw Koi having coffee at Starbucks, but didn't have the guts to tegur him as he's with someone (actually i think I saw him earlier on my way to KLCC!) But well,he might not remember me anyway.

Had dinner with ER at Madam Kwan's and later we had coffee @ Coffee Bean. And he sent me back to the hotel.
Thanks a lot! ;-)

P/S: I guess Pavi will be my place when I move back to KL (ceh...berangan!)
No harm dreaming kan?

Pavi

Dear Beautiful readers,

Alhamdulillah, thanks to the painkillers (i got it from Guardian pharmacy), my gum stopped aching (better than before!). Refer to the pic below:

And guess what, I went out with Sid! We haven't kept in touch for so bloody long (about almost 4 years i guess, right Sid?). Sid picked me up at the hotel and we went to Pavi!

And another shocking information, it's my first time in Pavi! Sad huh? Well...wanted to go there for ages (but i really didn't have much time before...) Then I lepak there with Sid from 6.30 to 9 p.m.

It's good to meet Sid again, as he knew what I am thinking and definitely he's a very good conversationalist. Hope that we'll be always keep in touch (and out for makan again..) especially when I am moving back to KL in the near future.

P/S: I am going to Pavi again with ER tomorrow nite, huh?

Happy Wedding Day - Dilla & Nas

Dear Beautiful readers

I would like to wish my good friends, Dilla & Nas on their wedding day semalam (SATURDAY, 16th August 2008). Couldn't make it guys, I am sorry as I am not in the "state".

Anyway, semoga murah rezeki and kekal sepanjang hayat.

P/S: Dulu aku minat kat Dilla, tapi I'm so "slow" and too much thinking!

Sakit Gusi Series 2

Dear Beautiful readers,

I really need to get some painkillers (terasa ala-ala asking for "coke" or "dope" lah plak kan!)

Just arrived at another hotel. Gosh, sometimes I do love to travel but then again, moving from another hotel to another hotel is such a waste of time. But what to do, it's all because of the work responsibilities.

Here are the few snapshots of the hotel.

P/S: Love this hotel because the internet is free...;-)

ANTM Cycle 11

Dear Beautiful readers,
Looking forward for this ANTM Cycle 11. Let's make some speculation who will be come the winner!

P/S: Love the hippies, "make love, no war" concept..

Beware of your hand gesture!

Dear Beautiful readers,

Realized my hand sign as shown in the picture above?

According to the instructor during the course, don't ever use this kind of hand gesture whenever you are in Peru, because:

It's a sign of telling the other party that you are HOMOSEXUAL.

P/S: Is it applicable? No comment.. ;-)

Sakit Gusi!

Dear Beautiful readers,
Adoii!

It's quite painful, in a slow-torturing manner!

Realized that my gum was aching since last nite while talking to S. I told him and he suggested me to goggled a salt water (where to find salt at 1 o'clock in the morning?)
Anyway, I continued sleeping and woke up with a cramped leg! Argghh!

A sign was it? Well...my gum continued aching!

Today was the last day of the course, it was quite fun and we were kind of "couldn't-care-less- anymore" about the course, in a way and just go with the flow. Even managed to gossip about Wan Nor Azlin (why all of sudden keluar cerita pasal dia during our tea-break?) with Em, Lee & Aida.

Again, about the sakit gusi. ER told me to get Panadol Actifast, as it works for him (and it might work for me too!) Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get the Panadol Actifast at the hotel's convenient store (the salesgirl offered me the normal Panadol instead). It worked, but I would like to try the Panadol Actifast. Probably will get it tomorrow in KL.

It's me all alone at the hotel as all my coursemates left for their respective destinations. Ordered food from the room service and it looks like this:

Kira kenyang lah jugak...janji aku boleh makan ubat later!

P/S: Time to pack my things...

Jangan main-main with Sumpah!

Dear Beautiful Readers,

Had a chat with Rol. Although our time is different (he's in Doha by the way), we had a good chat, catching up on each other's news.

All of sudden, the topic on MPP (Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar) popped up. I was watching the prime news and i wonder why the UiTM students willingly involved in the strike on the bumiputera:non bumiputera thingy.

Weird! You guys have a lot of other things to be thought rather than doing this kind of thing.
Oh my god...please lah, pi laa blajaq ka...buat keje2 elok ke, you guys are not even in the working life yet!

ANother thing, this Saiful guy (another MPP). Please don't ever play with the word Sumpah...
Enough said..

P/S: Macam2..

Bitch?!

Dear Beautiful readers,

I wonder why people changed.

Me changed. He changed. She changed. Everybody's different nowadays.
I think let's "blame" the environment / situation.

The story goes like this (all happened today, within the stipulated time!):

1) Story 1
I knew Em before. I knew her when we attended the same "get-together-session" with the advisors, about 4 years ago. And she's also one my ex-colleague's best friend. Even though I am not really that close to her, I can say that she's sort of an acquaintance of mine.

Guess what? During my course this morning, she gave some cynical remarks. (Oh, by the way...she's in the same course as mine now!) A bit bitchy i guess..

Em: Wah pakai Communicator! Busy sangat ke kat XXX sampai kena pakai Communicator?
(At that time, my phone was on my table, near my folders)

Me: Perli nampak.

A bit shocked with her remark. She's different nowadays. Probably she feels that she's good as she's in HQ as compared to me working for the subsidiary. Eksyen! Anyway, at least I have the money to buy the phone.. ;-)

P/S: It doesn't matter where you are. I might be less "corporate" than her, but I am responsible and professional too.! Talking about phone, i feel like to changing to slightly smaller phone! Haha!

2) Story 2
It's lunch time (yeah, we went for Friday prayer today, me, Abg H and Ad. Thanks Ad for your kindness).
I sat on the same table with one of the Burmese ladies.

And this is what she said to me:

Burmese Ladies: Errmm..r u Muslim?

Me: Yes, I am. Why? (I didn't think at that point of time I did anything beyond the capacity of me being a Muslim)

Burmese: You look like Chinese! (Banyak kali dah aku dapat this remark)

Me: Nope. I don't have that fair skin as Chinese. See Ad, he looks like Chinese.

Burmese: Smiling.

P/S: Got used to that particular remarks. Probably because of me having a slight slanting eyes!

Nice quote for today from Abg H: "Breakfast like a king, Lunch like a prince, dinner like a pauper" --> Alhamdulillah!

Al-Fatihah

Dear Beautiful Readers,

I am catching up with the rest of my classmates today (I guess!) and I have quite a good feeling (in a way!).
Right after class, I sent W's text message and guess what?

His dad passed away last weekend...AlFatihah. Semoga rohnya dicucuri rahmat-Nya.

W supposed to come to KL with me and we'll be attending the same course. But unfortunately, he has to cancel it last minute as his mum will be operated (I am not sure why, afraid to ask W as it might be a bit private / family matters).

The operation has to be postponed to another date due to the dad's death. For me it's quite shocking, and I guess there's a "hikmah" behind what had happened to W.

P/S: W, take care of yourself and I know that you are strong. I am sorry to hear this dear.

Amazing!

Dear Beautiful readers,

It was kind of funny though that I am currently attending the same course as my ex-boss!
Hmm...why did I think it's funny? Was it because:

a) Aku memang sort of like "I-am-not-really-into-him" kind of thing..
b) I didn't expect to meet him here
c) I can say that I wanted to avoid him (due to a number of reasons!)

But surprise surprise...hmm, I was kind of feeling quite comfortable whenever that I am with him during the course. Before writing this note, I did have a short conversation with him as he asked me to help him with his internet connection. And we did talk about work (pre and post transfer) and also other things.
There's no more awkward feelings as before, probably there's no longer a barrier (and he's no longer my boss!)

Thank God that my day's OK today (eventhough I will always have this awkward feelings whenever i am having meals with a "group" of my coursemates, another inferiority complex problem? Hahah!)

P/S: Another boring updates huh? Well..probably it's kind of late already..

Lepak..

Dear Beautiful Readers,

Another day to be faced (I'm still not enjoying my course, really..) but I did manage to give a few broad smiles since this morning as I received a very lengthy sms from S last night, about 1 a.m.

Now I realized that "quality" is more important than "quantity". Hmm..should be more wise (sejak akhir2 nih I'm so blur and such a slow thinker, yucks!)

Anyway, I think the days here are getting better and better. And, guess what? I managed to increase my confidence level and I realized that when I was having conversation with May (who used to be my junior's back during the uni days) and also with Bob, the American guy. Well..who knows? I just have the right person to get the right feeling, right?

But well...in reality, it's not easy to be with someone or in group of people where you can feel / have a higher self esteem. SOmetimes it works or vice versa. But it's ME to decide. As the proverb says "When you are in Rome, do as the Romans do!"

Finished early today, so I managed to chill out at the balcony and snapped some pics.

Enjoy..

JOM LEPAK2, but sorry there's no COCKTAIL!

How Deep is Your Love

Dear Beautiful Readers,

Enjoy this song, I really love it..

HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE
I know your eyes in the morning sun
I feel you touch me in the pouring rain
And the moment that you wander far from me
I wanna feel you in my arms again

And you come to me on a summer breeze
Keep me warm in your love and then you softly leave
And it's me you need to show

Chorus:
How deep is your love
I really need to learn'cause we're living in a world of fools
Breaking us down
When they all should let us be
We belong to you and me
I believe in you

You know the door to my very soul
You're the light in my deepest darkest hour
You're my saviour when i fall
And you may not think
I care for you
When you know down inside
That i really do
And it's me you need to show
How deep is your love

Paranoid vs Ignorant?

Dear beautiful readers,

It's the 2nd day of the course and I am still didn't really enjoy myself here, i mean.."the course", not on the fact of being here. But anyway, since it's all have been fully paid, I have to carry on my duty and be responsible..

One thing for sure that ...I think I am still left behind, as compared with my other colleagues from the HQ. Am i being ignorant? Am I just not being up-to date with all the news? I am realizing this whenever I communicate or having conversations with them.

Or am I just being paranoid?

Whatever it is, I think the best thing is to calm myself and ensure that everything is actually in order. There are still rooms for improvement and I am sure, I can be at the same par as them, provided I have the confidence and people have confidence me.

And how to send the "wave" of high confidence level? Well..be yourself, don't fake it!

It's a long way to go and there are plenty of challenges to be faced! Let's face it!

P/S: First time ever, I have experienced a 15 mins blackout at a hotel. Funny eh?
Anyway, I guess today's posting kind of a bit boring, yet? <--- Not saucy enough!

A week in KL

Dear beautiful readers,

I'm in the hotel now, just arrived. Will be here for the next 7 days (lama nya!)

Something wrong with S again, I don't know, I just feel that there's something wrong...or maybe it's just me who's being paranoid. I should have answered his call this morning, but it was totally not my fault as the phone was not "within reach"..

Hope that things will be pretty better in a couple of hours time.

There's nothing much happening today. Probably I am too tired to "experience" things since this morning (although I managed to cut down some grass and stubborn weeds at home).

I'll come back with other issues and news. Have to unpack things before the event tomorrow.

Mr Dopey

Dear Beautiful readers,

I didn't update anything last night, probably due to the fact that:
1) I have nothing to talk about ; OR
2) I am just plain lazy!

Anyway, I did read ER's blog. Wow! Now i'm loving the blog more...
See, you have the talent laa dude, keep it up!

Nevertheless, I couldn't really sleep last night as S was kinda disappointed with me. FYI, I didn't meet S for the past two nights. Deep in my heart, I really miss him..

I do..
I really do, S... You that I really mean it!

I am sorry...I know there is a border line.

Well...I have to go. Have to do some packing as I'll be leaving for KL tomorrow afternoon and will not be at work for almost 2 weeks! S going to see me again shortly.

Take care everyone.

P/S: Before writing this blog, I went out for dinner with S. Such a lovely, dopey eyes...

Wishful Thinking?

Dear Beautiful Readers,

Had a short disagreement with one of my colleagues, who used to be my superior.
It's not really an argument...I can say it's more to some miscommunication arised recently.

Actually, i knew her style. Kak N will keep telling the no-so-true story to other people and will exaggerate whatever she can to some extent. And I knew her game.

Blah...blah...blah..

It's not really an office politic though but well...it's more to blaming other people. I am not alone anyway..;-)

Later in the evening, I did ask Elle on my next movement. She did reveal that I might be tramsferred to the division that I haven't even dreamt of! ;-) Hope it will come true..

Anyway, my future boss (another offer, from different division) called me this morning to arrange for a "casual chit chat session" where he wants to meet me in KL next week.
Wish me luck!

P/S: Best things will come for those who wait!

"Orang Kampung" Sombong?

Dear beautiful readers,

Ary cynically smiled at me yesterday morning while at the same time carrying a Berita Harian with her.
Guess what?

Ary : Look, this is soOOoo you!
Me : What?
Ary : See this page!
Me : Ermm...hahahah!

I am laughing out loud!

Me : Can you please scan this page for me?

And she did it! She didn't ask what I am going to do with these scanned pages. But anyway, the newspaper cutting tells it all..

My two cents' worth: I do agree with what the points raised by the writer. Enough said..
P/S: Thanks to Ary for the scanned page. Sorry for the size, not meant for reading. Check out the cute Berita Harian, Tuesday 5th August 2008

3rd Night

Dear beautiful readers,

It's my 3rd night with S.

I mean...this is my 3rd night that I went out with him (directly or indirectly)
I went to his cafe last night and tonight, I went there again. It's all because of him, and he did tell me that one of his staff did tegur him why he looked so monyok, something like that. Initially I didn't want to go there and at the same time I don't want to be seen as "toot"..He said that he's actually waiting for me, sweet huh?

But I can't blame my heart..and I can't blame him too.

I don't know what makes me so angau these days..Anyway, I won't be seeing him for quite sometimes as I'll be in KL for almost 2 weeks. ;-(

Before reaching home, I went to SenQ to redeem my vouchers. Bought a new juicer and mobile phone for Sis Yan (she asked me to find new one for her and of course, I am not using my money). Managed to get good deals and the salesgirl was bloody helpful (and her English is damn good too!). I am not being snobbish (not generalising the profession), but normally it's very difficult (based on my experiences in shopping) to find salesgirls / men who can converse that well..

Anyway, whatever it is...I wish S best of luck in his business.

Ballerina or Singoalla?

Dear pretty readers.

Which one do you prefer, Ballerina or Singoalla?
Ary bought this Swedish cookies from IKEA. It doesn't taste like danish biscuits, but it does taste a bit like the normal shortbread. Very yummy!

Anyway, I prefer Singoalla than ballerina..
Singoalla : Custard shortcard with cream & rasberry topping (yummy!)
Ballerina: Chocolatey taste, but I don't really like it

P/S: What's the brand Ballerina have to do with chocolate? Any resemblance?
