Update!

Dear Beautiful readers,

Since "attached" to the facebook, I rarely update my blog, not as "industrious" as before, if i may say. But i shouldn't left my first love of blogging.. Enjoy some photos!

a) Met Mr ID and Mien for the final "touch-up". Love it and I can't wait!

b) Right after that, I accompanied Fakh for a movie at nearby cinema to watch V-Day. Fakh hasn't watched it, he should have watched it with his friend but got last minute cancellation. So being someone responsible, I was willingly accompanied him to watch, although it's my 2nd time. I don't mind..go Kara! :-)

Followed by Maggi Goreng and Roti Boom at nearby mamak. Gila banyak makan! :-)

Have a good Sunday people! Take care

Notting Hill

Dear Beautiful readers,

I have got nothing to do today (at this moment) except flipping thru the channels, having cup of coffee and chillin' at home. No dates, no visits to my chinese friends' houses (rarely people do the visit on first day, they have their own rituals as well!).

All of sudden, one of my favourite films is on TV (almost half way...but nevermind). Let's layan...

It's very appropriate indeed..ha ha ha!

DVD, Movies & Long Breaks - Part Deux

Dear Beautiful readers,

Right after Laskar Pelangi, I continued with Pisau Cukur and Phobia 2. Thought that Thai horror film was as scary as the trailer, but it's not what as per my earlier thinking. Probably due to the fact that there's no subtitle (as I didn't really understand what they were talking about!) or probably due to the fact that I couldn't really concentrate, probably a bit sleepy!

Fen invited me to join him for a movie, and of course, we watched the current movie 'talk of the town' - the Valentine's Day. Sweet as the title, but pretty predictable. But with the good, talented actors and actress, of course, it's very entertaining indeed.

Me? Hehehe...i think Kara's character (Jessica Biel) suited me most. Hahaha...the "I Hate Valentine's Day Party"...i like that! She looks kinda sexy in the movie. Nice body indeed...
And of course, other settings were beautiful as well - Anne Hathaway & Topher, Bradley Cooper and Eric Dane, Jennifer Garner & Patrick Dempsey, to name a few. Have to get the DVD later, as well! Stars? I'll give 7.5 out of 10 (due to the predictability!)

Then we had dinner at California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), lapar!

P/S: While waiting for Fen, aku sempat survey2 barang...tempting laa nak beli fridge nih!

DVD, Movie and Long Breaks!

Dear Beautiful readers,

It's another long weekend, i should have gone back to KB but got something to be settled (mainly regarding the house).

But it's still long way to go, so i have decided to spend my Saturday at home watching DVDs and chill (although later this evening all of sudden Fen invited me to join him for a movie - V Day)

First movie - Laskar Pelangi.

Although it was a bit outdated (for some of the movie goers), but this was my first time watching this movie. Love it love it love it! And there are quite a number of moral values that can be incorporated in our life, taking the lesson learnt from this movie.

And of course, it's all because of the two casts - Tora Sudiro and Cut Mini (especially those who have seen Arisan!)

Now, let's watch Pisau Cukur!

Sleepy Monday

Dear Beautiful readers,

The days are getting better, although I think today's kinda not so productive. A bit sleepy during the first half, although have to prepare for the 10 o' clock meeting. I was quite surprise that this particular GM that I was seeing was so damn nice and gentle, not as i expected from the way she behaves and portrays herself to the rest.

I think I can work and cooperate with her. And thank God, my boss was kind of in good mood too, alhamdulillah!

I met ER last nite for late dinner. Haven't met him for so long, due to my "busy schedule" (thanks to my "ritual" at work and followed by the gym activities). His Indonesian friend has bought me that Laskar Pelangi DVD (I was looking for this DVD for ages but recently found one in one of the local shop, too late since ER has already asked his friend to buy one for me).

ER did mention to me about his encounter at UNITEN during the recent Careers' Fair. And guess what? He realized that there's a poster in one of the toilets in UNITEN (probably all).
It's kinda funny. We can't piss in peace beside each other (i always use the cubicle, it's more decent, ha ha ha! see the pic below.

I left early for gym, and met Fakh for a quick bite for crepes (apam balik bak kata oghe Kelate...)
And of course, another stimulating conversation (coupled with jokes, of course!) with him. I like!!...makes my brain working, always...
And you see the pic below? "Overstressed and Undersexed". Love the caption! ha ha ha!

2012

Dear Beautiful Readers,
Last night, me, Fakh and his nephew went to the nearby cinema to watch the movie 2012 and as expected, it's full with all these moviegoers and the queue was bloody long (thank God I managed to get the ticket earlier..)

What do I think of this particular movie?

a) Typical "doomsday" movie, but with better effects
b) The main actor is such a "superhero" (he's too "powerful" I guess? Illogical! He should have "died" earlier)
c) Scary...(in it's own, unique way!)
d) An infinite list of messages (family values, being nice to each other, and of course, religions bring the same universal concept..)
Overall Rating : 4 stars out of 5 (thanks to the effects)

P/S: I won't elaborate further, afraid that those who haven't watched the movie will be pissed off! :-)

My weekend

Dear Beautiful Readers,

Yes, it's been a while. Thanks to my tight schedule (and also to the fatigue and my laziness!)
For the past few days in the week, there were nothing much other then running here and there at work and also being scolded "sarcastically" by my boss. And yes, it was quite a challenge!

In return, I told myself that this time, it's the pampering time. Haven't done this for quite a while. I was supposed to go for a movie with Fen on Friday nite to watch 2012 but I didn't manage to get the tickets for us (and the queue was long and I was also didn't manage to buy it via online)

On Saturday morning, I met Zain PP for breakfast as he wanted to get the camera that he wanted to borrow and bring along to Langkawi (a trip with the other half, lucky!). We went to the nearby new mamak place, it's kinda cosy (probably because it's new?)

Pics, from top to bottom: Teh Tarik and my usual Saturday newspaper, Pena's Ice Lemon Tea (Pagi2 minum ais ke? Hehehe), My Roti Canai Telur

And later, I text-ed Fakh and asked whether he got any plan(s) for today. Cut it short, we planned to go for a movie (and of course, the ever popular movie this month, 2012). Although we planned to watch it later that night, I went to the nearby cinema (and yes, the queue was bloody bloody long and thank God I managed to get the tickets without having to gamble and queue again before the showing time!)

I shot to Pavillion a while later to kill the time, and as expected, I splurged myself with my wish list, as always (shown in the pics below):

a) Christmas @ Pavillion
b) GAP stuff (with the free vouchers..)
c) Shoes, of course :-)
d) Peaceful lunch @ DOME

And today's (at this point of writing), I just had my breakfast at the same mamak where i had it yesterday with Zain PP. Another lazy Sunday I guess...

And that's all folks. What should I do today eh?

P/S : I missed the old days...

SATC

Dear Beautiful readers,

I have seen the movie.

And yes, of course, one of the big fans of the series.

The best part in the movie that I like most was when Miranda called Carrie (who was sleeping at that time) while people are partying on the New Year's Eve. And both of them were alone at home.

While Miranda at home (counting down, alone), it's such a sweet gesture from Carrie to come over to Miranda's house.

That's what a friend is for, kan?

Tengok Wayang..

Dear Beautiful readers,
It's been ages since my last visit to cinema, where I watched "He's not that into you" with Fen @ Pavi.
Fen invited me to join him again for another movie nite again (I should have gone to the open house of ARAB's friend but couldn't make it).

So Fen decided that we watched Papadom that night (it's on Friday nite i.e. last nite, at this point of writing) so I bought the ticket from home. And to my surprise, he bought another ticket for another film - 500 days of Summer (I was the one who recommended to him instead of us watching Papadom!)

In a way, it's sort of like we were having a movie marathon last nite..which ended up at 2 a.m.
Cut this short, here are my reviews:

PAPADOM.

Not bad for a Malay movie. Nowadays, Malay movie is different, very open and brings wonderful messages to audiences indeed. Personally, I think this movie should be shown during Father's day especially. (but everyday should be a father/mother's day kan?)
Part2 akhir tuh, aku teringat gak kat Abah aku. Isks! :-(

Out of 5 stars, I think I'll give 3.8 stars to this movie.

500 (DAYS OF SUMMERS)

A cute couple (a couple? haha) i.e. a cute combination, both the leading actor and actress (I couldn't really recall their name, but the actor was in the series, 3rd Rock from The Sun, yeah..that cute guy!). The message? Well...put less expectation, as good things might come to u later (although a lil' bit too late? Hmm...I wonder!)

Unexpected, cool ending too...
Ermm..out of 5 stars, I think this movie deserves a 4.3 stars!

P/S: What's next? Keje banyak nak kena buat nih...

Gelak!

Dear Beautiful Readers,
Are you guys familiar with these scripts?

"Che Gu suka main bola, hari hari Che Gu Main Bola.." (taken from Masam Masam Manis, Cikgu Shaari's class on Bachaan)

"Hey org sebelah!!......" (the cute arguments between Norkiah and Cikgu Shaari in Masam Masam Manis)

"Batu Belah batu Bertangkup..
Tangkuplah aku, telanlah aku,
Aku kempunan telur tembakul.."
- from Batu Belah Batu Bertangkup, it's the Queen of Tears, Neng Yatimah

I was watching these two oldies while waiting for iftar, it's kinda cute though. :-) I mean..the scripts!

Busy Monday!

Dear Beautiful readers,

Ermm...as expected, today was quite a busy day..but manageable. Z told me that Gucci will start their sales today. Although I left office at almost 9 p.m., i managed to drop by the boutique, checking out whether there are any good bargains..

Thank God there's nothing much or else there will be another splurge! (or probably not what I have expected kut?)

Anyway...

Reached home at 9.30 p.m, managed to prepare 2 layers of egg banjo, nyum2!! getting fatter laa macam ni kan?

And of course, as planned, I am currently watching (at the time of writing) the ever, nice romantic comedy (too much memories) - You've Got Mail at HBO !! :-) Love it....
P/S: Thanks Z for giving me that Vidi Aldiano CD. Love it! Z bought it in Jakarta last weekend...

Nak gi Jakarta laa... ;-)

Activities

Dear Beautiful readers,

Nothing much that i can update.

WEEKEND
Went to More's lunch farewell at Zu's house. Nice place but tight security.
We chatted and talked...and one of the gossips was about the "PLUs" at work...

Aku dah agak dah...

I just keep my mouth shut. Don't want it to be so bloody obvious..

Rest of the days...i just resting at home. It was raining anyway during the weekends..

MONDAY
Hahaha...surprise2, right after work...my and the boys went for a movie - Jangan Tegur!
I don't know why we chose that...it's not that scary for me, but with the sound effect like that...it kinda scary though. But if u want me to compare with Jangan Pandang Belakang...then this Jangan Tegur is much more scarier (the hantu is more real..)

TUESDAY
Busy day at work. Strengthening relationship with other counterparts in other division, and i like it!
Petang tadi aku balik awal skit....another shopping spree :-) (lama tak shop2)

Changeling

Dear Beautiful readers,

Saturday morning.

Another lazy day (although I may have to go to the office later *sigh*)

But while waiting for my laundry, I managed to watch CHANGELING. A good stunt by Angelina Jolie!

No wonder laa Anna, Ain & Kam recommended me to watch this!

Not so Adventerous / Interesting weekend!

Dear Beautiful readers,
Quiet eh? Yeah..it's my fault. Blame the workload...or me being lazy to update as definitely I have no time during the weekdays (reached home almost 9.30 onwards during weekdays from work!).

Weekends? Hehehe...well, nothing interesting. But managed to grab a number of DVDs from the shop the Ain recommended which is nearby to my house. COuldn't be bothered to drive to Bukit Bintang to find DVDs.

Ended up buying 13 DVDs and I'm loving it..

And what do you expect? Of course I was spending my weekends watching DVD! Sad huh?

1) The Curious Case of Benjamin Button - Done
2) Dorothy Mills - Half way
3) How to LOse Friends & Alienate People - Done
4) The Women - Done
5) Rachel Getting Married - Half Way
And the list goes on...including Defiance. Australia, Friday the 13th...

Unfortunately, I couldn't find MILK and The Reader from the shop. Nevermind...another trip then!

On my way back, I managed to snap a few pics of my beloved house. InsyaAllah, it'll be completed by end of this year, the latest...
