Love.Hate.Relationship.Work

Hello readers,

It's getting tougher and tougher, day by day at work. Sometimes, i feel so scared, but i managed to get through the day smoothly...

It's kinda love-hat relationship. With work i mean. Not with any tom, dick and harry (refer to my previous posting about "love department")

I keep praying and humbly begging from God to give me strengths to face all the challenges. I am supposed to be on leave tomorrow since my sister's coming to KL. Although it has been approved by my boss earlier, it seems like there are a number of stuff to be handled at work. But i managed to tell my boss that I have to be on leave but will always be ready should they need me at work. (but hope not!)

My anak buahs and sis will be coming tomorrow. Hope everything will be fine.

Mixed Feelings on Sunday

Dear Beautiful Readers,

Hope everything's ok so far with you guys, especially on Sunday.

Me? Well...I can say, it's a mixed feelings.

Sad. Angry. Happy. Excited. Macam2 ada!

Ntahlaa, but i am still sane...that's all I can say :-)

I met my ID friend and Fakh at Wangsa Walk for lunch, nearly left for KLCC (but it was damn packed, thanks to the PC Fair, held in KL Convention Centre since Friday). So we met at Subway, didn't really talk about the ID though and I had good company (at least, something to "kill" my boredom on Sunday noon!). Mr ID gave me that red ribbon, as he just came back from the event.

Hey...wait a minute! Ermm..u wannaknow what we talked about? Ermm..it's about relationship again, and yes, the existence of "mak esah".. No! No! No! We are not saying that we used "mak esah", but that's the reality. Reality bites eh? People will do anything to get accepted. To get notice.

Everything. Even the pretty and the better ones also do this.

So what do we really wants actually? Acceptance? Appreciation? or L.O.V.E?

It's tough. World's getting tougher today.

Note: I won't be involved with this "mak esah" activities. Never.!

I left Wangsa Walk about 4p.m. and headed home. Chill. Resting.

And all of a sudden, got sms from Herry (ignore the dialects, if u don't understand, let it be ya?)

Herry: Duk mano? Kijo ko? (Why he asked me whether I was at work or not? Yes, sometimes I do have to work during weekends but not anymore, sad eh?)

Me: Drumah

Herry: Ingat ko mung kijo. Aku pening laa bro...aku balik kijo saknih abah & ma baloh. Serabut arrr...

Speechless. Aku kaget. Apasal pulak ni...

Me: Bakpo pulok?

There goes. Herry told me this and that. Aku kaget again. And I feel bad. And I feel queasy.

Phew, it's weekend. Alhamdulillah. Been in quite a hectic and stressful week (i am talking about last week)

Let's look what i've done since Friday!

Friday:

a) Meeting with that potential consultant(s). Hahaha..that person is gorgeous! I wish..and I wish...and I wish.

But well (boleh berangan je kut?) Tak salah kan since I am not attached..

b) Dinner & discussion with Kos @ San Fran. He brought his assistant. Another gorgeous person! Makhluk tuhan..subhanAllah! ;-) Oh, Kos did offer me another job with another friend. Shall i try? Apa salahnya test market kan? hahaha

P/S: Balik umah..berangan je la (but slept really really early!)

Saturday:

a) All of sudden Fros asked for my help. Yeah, he attended the interview with Tengku Farith. It was quite an experience. I wish him all the best, and I think he'll get the job. InsyAllah. While waiting for the time, we had a short "de-briefing" at Coffee Beans.

b) All of a sudden, tak penah2 aku terserempak ngan cousin aku kat mamak. So aku tegur je laa dia..

I rarely meet my family members in KL (most of my family members in my hometown though!)

c) Oh...the internet was really sucks since morning. Malam baru OK, so now bleh laa update blog..hahah

P/S/S: Aku dapat tahu dia akan kawin soon. Errm...really unexpected!

Time to layan SATC again..

Ambition(s), Dream(s) and Reality (yikes!)

Dear Beautiful readers,

I didn't really "write" during my day off at home recently. Probably because I wasn't really in the mood.

Or probably because i forgot my cable to transfer the pics (hahah...alasan!)

Now let's change topic (why all of sudden?) hehe!

Anyway, i know that each and everyone of us have our own dream(s) and ambition(s).

Aku pun masa kecik cam tuh gak...nak jadi lawyer laa, this and that (errmm..heheh!)

There were too many ambitions. There were too many dreams.

But there's nothing wrong with that kan? There's no harm dreaming.

And i do support whoever wants to dream. Let's be creative shall we?

Including my 2nd niece, (the pictures tell thousand words!)

Mula2 aku cam nak gelak (note: aku tak curi2 baca her diary, kebetulan her notebook was on the table while I visited my sis' house i.e. her mum). But she's being real, and I have got nothing against her dreams...

"You go, girl!"

Rusa atau Kijang?

It's obvious.

And i know my fellow countrymen will be gathered in the stadium (including my lil' brother and my bro-in-law!) in the spirit of togetherness and strong sense of brotherhood.

Me? Of course i'm in the "kijang" side..but I won't be one of them who will flood and congregate in Bukit Jalil :-)

Kalau kijang kalah, alamatnya makan daging kijang laa...or vice versa :-)

Harap2 dapat makan daging rusa! (Although me doesn't like rusa though...but have tried once!)

P/S: Suka org2 kijang..:-) Tapi...

Sunday Issues

It was quite a disappointing night last night. Why?

a) It turned out that my car broke down, at it's parking space! I had that feeling earlier though as I left the car at home for almost one week without asking anyone in KL to look after it. (Nak suruh sapa?)

So pagi2 lagi aku dah "accidentally" woke up from my deep sleep and searching for that 24 hour service call centre.

Yes! It did work and around 0700 hour, the mechanic came and asked me to change the battery.

Sah2 battery kong! It's ok, better sorry now than later..

b) I am missing someone...

Dear beautiful readers,

Today was the most unproductive raya for me I think.

Well...I wasn't complaining, there were nothing much to be proud of anyway.

Initially, I thought of going to my friends' (both hubby & wife are my friends) open house in Pengkalan Chepa. But due to my laziness and not so willing attitude of facing the bad traffic (yeah...it was really crazy!), I ended up staying at home. (Sorry Akhram & Linda, we'll meet in KB laa deh before going back to KL nanti!)

And at this point of writing, I was alone at home, all my family members went to other "warih" (i.e. relatives) house for majlis solat hajat. I didn't plan to go, just resting at home..

No special pictures were snapped today (and that's one of the reasons why i said today was quite unproductive..heheh)

P/S: First time ever last night I saw a cat being "knocked down" by a car..."gelepar2" kucing tuh...sambil terkeluar dia punya biji mata!)

It's the national day again. I was in KB when the clock struck 12 last night and was in the kopitiam with the boys.

Anyway, I have got nothing much to say (not saying that I am not that patriotic enough though!) cuma sometimes we ourselves have to think whether kita nih betul2 dah merdeka ke blum? (i am not saying about the country, but we ourselves...yes, WE!)

MERDEKA is a universal word, and i think it can be applied to all aspects of life.

Samada kita sedar atau tidak, tuh je..

I have reached KL this morning and lupa nak snap pics masa aku lalu kat Bangunan Parlimen tadi. A simple celebration, elok laa tuh bulan2 puasa nih..takyah nak membazir kan?

Sunday in Kelate

Yeah..yeah, i know it's too late. Just want to summarise my activities on last Sunday (my last day in KB, *sob* *sob* heheh)

a) Did some chores, run some errands. Renewed my licence which costs RM 32, aku kasi RM 50 tapi abg kaunter kasik duit balik RM 8. Dia selamba je, mungkin dia pening...so aku remind balik:

Me: "Abe, takdi sayo bui RM 50"

Abe Pos: " Yo ko? Maah laa deh"

Me: "oh takpo...small matter!" (ehh...small matter tuh aku tambah je, heheh)

So that Abe Pos gave me the extra RM 10.

b) Petang rehat2 kat umah, but I fall asleep. Damn! Aku dah plan nak gi bazaar ramadhan nak snap2 few pics, tapi kalau dah lambat tuh..sah2 laa jam nak ke KB. So aku lupakan hasrat murni aku tuh :-(

c) Malam: Hang out time again with Mr "From My Eyes", W and A(another friend of them). Best!

Saturday in Kelate

At this point of writing, I just came back from a nite out with Mr "From My Eyes" and his friend.

but let me start with what were my activities since this morning:

a) Pagi: Went out to Bazaar Buluh Kubu with mum and bro to get the songkets for G (and probably for myself). Ended up buying the high quality ones at the first shop and managed to find the one design (which is far more cheaper) that I was looking for in the 2nd shop. Kalau G taknak, aku kasi kat Abah je..

It was quite hot and you-know-what in KB as the traffic was bad especially on Saturday. We also went to the kedai that made the "murtabak tebal" kat Jalan Merbau. Siap beli terus all the kuihs from the dapur of the seller! ;-)

b) Noon: What a boring afternoon! I was a bit inactive as compared to other days, so i ended up having a short nap. All of sudden mum came to me and woke me up accidentally saying that they were accidents in front of our house. Aku pun cuak jugak aa...paham2 laa I was all of a sudden being woke up and sah2 laa aku mamai. Ye laa..kut2 sapa yang aku kenal accident ke apa kan? Nauzubillah himinzalik...

c) Bukak Puasa time: As I told mum that I feel like eating laksam (cravings? mengidam? ntah laa), instead of me going to Bazaar Ramadhan, mum personally prepared the laksam for me and abah. Mak aku memang pandai masak, so it shouldn't be a problem for her. Cuma dlm usia2 sebegini, she couldn't really cook, unless she wants too. Aku pun tak paksa, but mum is always a mum, so dia akan buat apa saja untuk anak dia.. (actually ada gambar laksam, tapi aku lupa nak bawak cable for the camera, nantila aku balik KL aku upload, neh!)

d) Night: Plan to meet Mr "From My Eyes". Ye laa..bila lagi kan? (Abah aku pelik sebab apa aku takgi terawih tonite...hehehe) We met at nearby kopitiam for a chat and later we drove to another part of the town to have 'colek' with another friend of him who also works in KL. Hmm...makan hati betul. Kenapa laa diaorg nih cantik2 / gorgeous? And I am not? Pelik bin ajaib. No wonder laa they are all laris like goreng pisang (my assumptions)...

I had a good time, and hope to meet them again.

Esok sehari lagi bukak puasa ngan family. I am sure i'll miss it when I go back to KL.

And yes, i'll be missing everyone here! Yes...i said E.V.E.R.Y.O.N.E

Balik Kampung!

I am leaving for my hometown tomorrow for a couple of days day-offs with family. Lama dah tak cuti actually, so i think it's better. Lagipun, it's Ramadhan, elok laa kalau bersama family. Besides that, my next trip to kampung will be the raya trip, which is in mid September.

Since Herry (adik aku) ada kat sini during the weekends, here are the things that I have done so far, since last nite:

a) Main Wii (hahah...lawan tennis, bowling etc!)
b) Wii Fit...(cheq fit jugak seh...heheh)
c) Shopping..(Pavi and KLCC, here we come!)

Tawakkal

Dear Beautiful Readers,

Thank God that today's Saturday. My lil' bro is here with me and he arrived yesterday. He followed me after work, although I didn't really feel good at work on Friday.

Anyway, I did have a good conversation with my other staff, the junior one. It's all because of her confirmation, and yes we did discuss and should I want to be a bit cruel to her, I can do that...but me being "always mr Nice Guy", instead i boosted up her confidence.

The day went well, until we had the review with the bosses at 5 p.m. Yes, I didn't have a chance to do that since my senior exec had play her roles (thanks for all the conflict that she has created). My boss didn't "tegur" me at all during day..

Was she mad at me?

Were the girls did tell bad things about me (since I got to know they went up for lunch with my boss?)

Probably the boss think that I am actually the one who created this, which is totally NOT!!

Well...i really have to be patient and tawakkal in this case. Whatever people want to say, I still have some few good colleagues and of course, my family.

P/S; Ok jugak adik aku kat sini now, at least aku tak bosan...:-)

Thank God

I couldn't focus at work in the first part of the morning.

And I don't know why. I feel agitated. I didn't know where to start first.

But I managed to give clear explanation on to the other party from other unit who needs my clarification.

It's an achievement though, for me at least!


After lunch time, i accidentally attended a sharing session organized by my fellow colleague. In that session, hahaha..it was my "old flame" (sort of..) who gave the presentation. Unfortunately, i couldn't be long as I have to attend another meeting.

Then later after that, I sent email to him saying that I wish that I can catch up with him..
Hahaha..meroyan ke apa aku nih? Long story though...aku je yang perasan kut?

Anyway...sure dah bosan kan baca citer aku? Asyik berangan je..

Petang tadi, while having a review with my boss, I told her about the "dilemma" that I am having currently with the staff. She agreed with me but again...stay put and I have to learn to manage. I really appreciate her feedbacks.Thanks H!

Left office after Maghrib. Had dinner with Shue, and again..we discussed about the same thing. I was totally agreed and appreciate her time. Yes...we're in the same boat and we have to draw the line.
We did talk about family, sometimes..kita nih, time2 sedih ke...apa ke..baru la ingat nak call family.
Kalau heartbroken nak rak, bleh plak takleh tido ingat kat org yg tinggalkan kita tuh..

Whatever it is...don't take family for granted :-)

P/S: On the way driving back terus aku call mak..hehe

Alone VS Not Alone

Dear Beautiful readers,

I wish that I was on leave today to entertain my sis and her family.

But I couldn't.

I even received phone calls from my boss in the morning, asking for something (at that time I was already in my office). And that's why I couldn't take leave today. The deadlines are a bit tight this time...:-(

I feel a bit guilty though. But they are ok, they r going somewhere else anyway.

And when I reached home, i felt the pinch of loneliness. Hahaha (tu laa...masa budak2 nih ada, i mean..my anak buahs, aku serabut - after a few hours, then masa diaorg takde...u wish they are here with u!). My house looks slightly cleaner (probably those anak daras dah kemas siap2 takut pakcik dia marah! hahaha)

Anyway...got a call from my brother. They are coming here too this weekend. Another guests?
