Hikmah

Dear Beautiful readers,

Kadang2 tuh, if you really want "a thing" (tak kisah laa apa2 pun), but u didn't get it that easily, there's always a blessing in disguise or hikmah.

That's what happened to me this afternoon when I really want to a "Blackberry" for myself. Went to Maxis KLCC but I kept thinking that I am not gonna change to a Maxis number, or any new number. Just want to maintain the number that I am using currently.

And yes, let's blame the PC Fair, KLCC was damn packed with sea of peole.

Anyway, I bought a book from Kino - New Malaysian Essay 2 (bunch of good Malaysian writers, i like!, especially Amir Muhammad)

I went to Avenue K Food Court for lunch, the Indonesian lady who manned one of the stalls siap tanya aku:

"Baru kluar jalan2 ya? Hmmm tidak kluar dengan pacar?"

What a question! Hahaha...tak nampak ke aku nih sorang? Kalau aku berdua pun, mcm ler the other party tuh pacar aku! Aku tiada pacaran dengan siapa2 pun...:-(

And well...cut it short, aku still tak puas hati pasal tak dapat Blackberry. Then I shot to Pavi, kut2 bleh grab any good deals kat Blue Cube. (Teruk kan..semalam dah gi Pavi and today pun gi lagi...takpe laa, aku tak susahkan sapa2 pun). But again, kat Blue Cube pun, kena ambik package, leceh...and aku malas nak ke Low Yat to get the Blackberry.

That's what I called hikmah..Hikmah that I won't spend my money as and when I need, without thinking the amount that I might spend :-)

Untuk sedapkan hati aku, aku pi Zara beli tie and singgah The Loaf beli cup cheese cake.

And headed home...lalalalalalallalaalalallalala

I need a "proper" rest..

Since working for this Company, I have to face the fact that there are always "ad hoc" requirements..

Just name it! Macam2..

Let alone the fact that you always have to settle the backlogs and also the current deliverables, which are yet to be finished.

And that's the dilemma that I am facing now!

As a matter of fact, today I spent the whole 8 hours at work again (on Saturday? hmm..how sad! Org lain gi dating...). Me with another colleague, and accompanied by few auditors (not the year end audit mind you, it's the "special project")

Sabar je laa..

I have to be there again to complete the tasks. Can't really rely on my fellow subordinates. Tak strict salah, nak jadi strict pun salah...:-(

On my way back, I bought few DVDs and magazines.

I wish I can turn back time, with the Taboo!, Cluedo and Monopoly nights! Arghh..I missed that.

P/S: Biasa laa kita nih manusia, kdg2 we take things for granted. Masa kat depan kita, kita tak peduli sangat. Masa jauh mula laa duk teringat2...Let's learn from that.

Kalau aku ingat kat kawan2 bagai nak rak pun, errmm..do they really think about me?

I have decided that I have to go out this evening, for boredom's sake!

Thought of going to KLCC but going to Pavi instead, and met ER there.

I just bought a book. A book. That's it (Pheww....i managed to prevent myself from any "impulse buying")

Then we went for early dinner at the famous "The Lodge" for porridge, but I had fried rice instead (takut tak kenyang kalau makan bubur!)

I felt a bit tenang. I don't know. I couldn't care less about work. Yang penting, aku tawakkal padaNya.

Berserah pada Qada' & Qadr' sahaja...

Yeap, if looking at the trend, it looks like there's only 1-2 entry per week.
And I don't deny that..

Pretty much busy, and probably there's nothing much interesting news to be updated. :-(

As a summary, here are the updates for the whole week:

1) Kam finally managed to persuade me to join him to the trip in Bangkok this coming May, yay!!
2) I managed to assist two of my friends to get through their assessment.
3) Volunteering myself to man the booth during the recent accounting careers' fair at Mid Valley.

4) Bought some books...hahahah...i'm loving it!

5) Mentally tiring appraisal time...*sigh*

Sunday Updates

Aku tahu, dah lama aku tak update.

Even semalam one of my acquaintances tanya "Any updates in the diary?"

Aku cakap.."Takde yang interesting...buat apa update!"

Tadi..pagi2 lagi my colleague sms, asking about whether I have done that appraisal thingy.

Aku memang tak buat lagi.

And because of that...i left for office this morning, completed everything and left home at lunch time.

Finally..

1) Aku managed to get the Butterscotch bread by Gardenia (Matt Bentayan & Nini dah banyak kali recommend kat aku)

2) Cookies (nih Ain yang recommend...memang sedap!)

3) The "bibles" - memang takleh miss on monthly basis..

P/S: Semalam aku tak "tutup lampu" sangat.. have done a lot of savings on daily basis. no need to wait on 28th March :-)

Saturday's retail therapy!

Another proactive Saturday (as compared to last Saturday!).

Went out for shopping at KLCC this morning. Bought few things that I have been looking for before, such as a leather attache at 50% discount!

While walking to my car at the car park, I saw this MyVi. Iwas looking at that car too as the registration number hailed from my "home country" i.e. he might be my fellow country man! Driving along looking for a parking space.

Not too forget, a nice driver too! (berangan!)

And again..while walking, the driver rolled down the window.

The driver: Nak keluar ke? (Smiling at the same time...nice!)

Me: Haah. Sekejap eh? (Smiling too..)

There's the driver. Waiting for me to start and "get away" with my car. I wish I can raise my hand, waving to the driver..

Hahahahaha...

P/S: Nevermind, at least...I did someone else a favour, literally... ;-)

iPod Touch

Last weekend, I was in KL to settle some pending tasks (I will move to KL soon, InsyaAllah).

As expected, I managed to grab the new iPOD touch (I have been waiting for this for so long, mcm tunggu "seseorang" je!)

P/S: I also bought a book on Che Det's blog. Love it too!
