Single and Fabulous - Part Quatro

Dear Beautiful readers,

First impression counts.
but sometimes it such a shame if the first impression is actually not that correct.

That's what happen to the presenters during the session this morning, that i have attended.
Whatever it is, hopefully that won't happen to me InsyaAllah.

I received a parcel from Rin, the small token from Melbourne. It's the tea towel! Thanks!

Time for cardio activities again. Have to leave office earlier than usual. feel awkward, but I have to change. WHo else to love me instead of ME myself? hehehe
Unless i have got something in the evening (sometimes people like to arrange "meetings/discussions" late in the evening, aiyooo!)

3 more days to go, then I won't be in the city. I will be outstation for 4 days (hence, no "gymming" activities *sigh*)

Have a nice day, folks!

Boxing Day!

Dear Beautiful readers,

Yes, yesterday was the boxing day!

What? No live telecast? No laa...i didn't refer to that Boxing Day, it's the "Boxing Day" of the one day after Xmas i.e. every year on 26th December.

I am not so sure about the history of Boxing Day but what i knew best about boxing day is the crazy clearance sales held all over the world, especially in the western countries. (haa...i missed my good, old student days!)

Anyway, nothing much happened here on this particular day except that I went to KL Sentral to redeem my points to claim the tickets for Ma & Abah. It turned out to be that the tickets were fully booked from KB to KL so I thought that they might not be able to come and stay with me for a couple of days during these long hols (mind you...I am on leave until the New Year, yay!)
And that was the first time after ages that I had my weekend coffee/tea fix and breakfast at KL Sentral

In the afternoon, i met Fakh for our "sessions" with the therapists at Avenue K (this place kind of dodgy nowadays..probably due to the fact that not many people go there, but thanks to the food court on the UG level and Quatro at the Ground Floor). Well...it turned out to be good and we had to see them again next week. Hope it's worth doing it again!

Later that nite, E, Rin & SAO came to my house for a dine in. I didn't cook anything but instead they brought yong tau foo and some cakes. We had "wii" sessions later and followed by a round of Monopoly. It was fun indeed, although I was kinda tired (they left at 3 a.m. at night and have to catch flight to Melbourne later today. P/s: sorry guys, couldn't send you to the airport, you know your way kan? Heheheh)

Meanwhile, while writing this particular posting, I just came back from the Sunday coffee fix and left for bank. I wonder why nowadays there are a number of ermm...how should i call this "orang mintak derma exactly depan bank". I got nothing against them, but their "strategy" does work indeed.

That's all for the first part of Sunday. I don't know what will I encounter later today.

Till then, cheerio!

The Colourful "Temasek"!

Dear Beautiful readers,

Let's enjoy the colourful piccies of Singapore. It's the Asian version of London (i think!).
A nice weekend trip indeed, although it's quite tiring.

Overall, it's worth it!

P/S: A clean city indeed, but I feel like i am in Manila on Sunday! Go figure!
Sentosa Island? I didn't go to Sentosa, nanti laa...next trip probably!

Friend or Foe? Frenemies?

Dear Beautiful Readers,

I have explained earlier in my previous post regarding my long silence. Fullstop.

Yesterday, i was totally surprised to be told by F that he's in town. Surprise visit? Hidden agenda? Ermm...
We met for lunch. Looking into his eyes, it looked like he's thinking of something. Yes, the upcoming big event. But i am not being judgemental here, let's not make any assumptions.
I am sure, he'll be ok.

So...what's with the title? Well...a friend can be a foe or vice versa? me? I am happy with the friends that I have now, hope that they won't become my foe in the near future. Let's pray :-)

And i am not asking for any musuh or whatsoever, it's just that, sometimes people just taking things for granted (masa nak mintak tolong baru laa nak contact...heheh).

Anyway, i met my new friend R last nite, it was quite late though, almost 11 (for a working night). And I did enjoy having conversation with him, ala SATC (again!).We had drinks at nearby mamak and guess what? i'm going to Singapore with him this weekend, yay!!

Nantikan!

Dear Beautiful Readers,

Sorry for the long silence. Blame the internet again!

See and look at the pic attached..what do u think?

To be continued...

Cauntion?!

Dear Beautiful Readers,

I was away from the city for a couple of days for work related activities. It was OK (something different) to be away from the city, once a while..

And rarely we see sun shines since these few days, and it's a rainy day everyday, be it in KL or other places, especially in my hometown.

But anyway, while being outstation, I saw this particular signage (it's kind of funny!) but the intention is good, to prevent any hazards at the workplace (the owner of the premise might be responsible should there be any accident occurs at their workplace, in a way!).

Let's see...

Meanwhile, other friends were also away from office, lucky them to have the opportunity to be in places far away from Malaysia. Both Kam and Kak Sha went to Muscat, Oman and Tokyo, Japan respectively.

And here are what I got from them, ha! ha! :-)

P/S: Ujan2 nih nak buat apa eh? Duk umah je la...

Bye Bye Bangkok..

Dear Beautiful readers,
It's the time.

Time to say goodbye to Bangkok. A busy, hectic city but yet still full of mystery and things to be explored.
Another visit? Probably just for shopping. But not in the near future. Reached KL on hot Monday afternoon

Bye Bye Bangkok..

No more Sawadee Karp. Karp khun Karp (betul ke aku eja nih?) No more communication breakdown

Pic 1: My bags. Datang 2 bags, balik 3 bags (camana tuh?)
Pic 2: Breakfast @ Starbucks (no other choice), kat airport banyak tempat aku takleh makan!
Pic 3: At that airport..
Pic 4: Tunggu flight...
Pic 5: Kat airport..perasan tak kedai kat belakang tuh? :-) Jom gi!
P/S: Kat sana pun ramai org cuba cakap kat Siam ngan aku...:-) Sedara mara, serumpun kan?

Bangkok 4th Day - Cili Padi & Gigi?

Dear Beautiful readers,
It's Sunday morning, so we ended up having Sunday brunch at one of the Malay restaurants, CILIPADI in Silom Road. It's the typical Malay restaurant which based in overseas, mcm sepesen je semua all over the world. The deco etc.
I had the nasi goreng ayam and iced milo, and of course, in the restaurant itself..tak sah kalau takde gambar2 ministers / celebrities who had paid their visit to the place ;-)

Probably they want to show the Malaysian authencity. Maybe?
Right after the makan session, we went to the tailor to collect the suits and shirts. We ended up taking cab to go back to the hotel (Thai cabs are so colourful - the Kedah's colour i.e. Hijau Kuning, the pink ones, the tangy orange, the blue ones...and guess what, it's TOYOTA!!)
In late afternoon, i went out alone as I have made an appointment with a dentist in Sala Daeng. It's all for the "benefits of the teeth"..but guess what, I ended up of not doing it, afraid of the complication :-(
Since the appointment has been shorten, instead I went to Siam Paragon and MBK for another last minute shopping :-)

Bangkok 3rd Day - It's "Chatuchak" time!!

Dear Beautiful readers,

When in Bangkok, it won't be complete if the visitor don't pay a visit to Chatuchak Market. We took the BTS to Mo Chit Station and came back via MRT (the underground) at Chatuchak Park. It looks similar like all those shops in Rantau Panjang / Pengkalan Kubor but it's haven. U name it!! The indie clothing, the souvenirs, even bundle and dogs!!

Jom gerak ke Chatuchak!!
There are about thousands shops in here.I definitely think that we didn't manage to cover all (plus it's damn hot anyway...thank God I wasn't sweating like a pig!)

Managed to grab a few good deals...

Ice lemon tea to quench the thirst...surppppppp
