Dear Beautiful readers,

I don't have much time to write in full, just a few updates:

1) I am currently in the northern region of Peninsula Malaysia - O.U.T.S.T.A.T.I.O.N
2) At this point of time, I couldn't really close my eyes and doze off. Just came back from a farewell party for a friend who work here and she's going back to KL
3) My niece got 9As for her PMR. Alhamdulillah!
4) Leaving for KL tomorrow nite, and i guess I'll be countdown-ing at home.. 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1!
5) Tough luck in "that" department...bosan tul!

Awal Muharram

I was arguing with a friend in regards to the "Awal Muharram" and Maal Hijrah.
I don't know why all of a sudden I am a bit "jahil" in this matter, yet I know that I actually know the definition and the meanings of these two. Probably due to my stupidity and ignorance...

Xmas

Dear beautiful readers,

I am bloody sorry. I know it's been a while that I wasn't "here".
Happenings here and there, and at the same time, I wasn't really keen to jot down things...probably due to the fact that it might bore you guys to death or it's still the lame, boring entries..

Anyway, I am currently at my hometown for the long weekends. Will be back in KL on Sunday and of for another outstation job on Monday until the New Year's Eve.

I'll come up with another "good entries".

Paris or London?

Dear Beautiful readers,

Lynn called me right after my meeting around 4ish. There must something that she wanted to tell me:

Lynn: I am going to Paris and London for Xmas!

Me: What? You mean KB = London, Paris = Dungun? (Initially she wanted to go to Dungun & KB during the long hols of Xmas and probably we're going to meet up)

Lynn: Pelik eh? Can't be trusted ahh? Hehehe...Too good to be true?

Me: Yeah..it is! Nak ikut!!

Lynn: Mum's going to use her Enrich or else it will be expired.

Me: Lucky u! Tak aci!

I'm not sure whether I'm going back to KB during this long Xmas weekend. Probably I will, sis will be coming back from Makkah soon.

Later after work, went out for shopping. Bought some clothing and did some jeans alteration.

What a nice retail therapy! ;-)

Ok then...got to go. Nak goreng karipap for dinner!

Tragedy

Dear Beautiful readers,

Another fine day at work. Love it! Although we have been "reminded" by our boss that starting January onwards until March it'll be quiet a hectic period.

Yeah...we've expected and I'm sure we can do it! ;-)

News highlights - Bukit Antarabangsa landslide.

One of my good friends sort of "part of the tragedy", but not that bad as her house wasn't badly affected. It's more to the road heading towards her house.

But the good thing was, her husband's company had arranged everything for them, from accommodation to ration, to even a rented car! Lucky them..And it's not a calang2 accommodation anyway, in the heart of KL.

But luckily they are OK. and I pitied those who are currently traumatised with the event / badly affected.

Mum called me on the Saturday morning, asking whether my area has been affected as well. Don't worry mother, it's quite far from that area and she also asked whether my "future place" "will" be affected..scary eh? It's on the hill as well...hehe

It's kinda funny that there's still a number of housing development being carried / on going in that area. Haven't "they" i.e. developers learnt from the previous tragedy such as Highland Towers?

Whatever it is, let us pray that we'll always be safe under the guidance of the Al-Mighty, InsyaAllah.

Raya Haji, Hujan & Nasi Lemak

Last night, when I was doing some groceries shopping at Giant supermarket, I got text messages from Isk, another good friend of mine.

Isk: Mai beraya umah kami k?

I was touched. Ingatkan esok (i.e. Monday: Raya Haji), I'll be alone at home celebrating this Eid. I know..i know, it's not a big deal but then it's better than nothing.

Me: Thanks a lot. I kat Giant nih, buying some foodstuff. Nak buat nasik lemak. I masak umah you boleh?

Isk: Boleh, dialu2kan!

I left for their home almost 10ish. It's not that far anyway.

Raya Morning

We went to the nearby mosque, we almost "missed" the prayers. It was drizzling, but yet it didn't hinder the spirit of the community in that area to go and do their responsibility.

But the funny thing was...right after the prayer itself, there were a few group of people who walked out of the mosque. Erm...didn't they know that the "process" it's not yet completed until the khatib finishes his khutbah? Well...I thought they know, but well..

I'm not perfect either but it shows that some people are still in their ignorant mode, or couldn't care less maybe? Let's pray then!

But anyway, right after that, I went back to their home and we continued our cooking.

It's simple, but yet delicious - Nasi Lemak with Fried Chicken, anchovies, sambal udang and of course, with the eggs and cucumber. ;-) NYUM2!!

Another nice weekend (i thought so!)

Went out quite early in the morning, left home around 8 to do some groceries shopping @ Carrefour Wangsa Maju. At the same time, I managed to pay "Riana" a visit whilst being at that area.

Sid asked me to join him with other "sibs" for a movie at KLCC. Unfortunately, I have already promised to go out with Kam. Accompanied Kam to Low Yat and guess what? Due to my "f***ed off" streamyx and also my new Celcom broadband (dah ada tanda2 "fu**** off), I grabbed the good offer from Izzi. Yesss...so far so good. Hopefully it'll be maintained ;-)

Later went out for dinner with Kam at Sari Ratu. It's Saturday anyway, so memang laa ramai kan?

Esok nak buat apa eh? Wait and see..

Raya Haji? Aku tak dapat balik....;-(
What to do...macam tak biasa raya sorang2 kan?

Kiranya, raya di perantauan gak laa.. My two colleagues will celebrate their eid-ul adha outside Malaysia.
One will be in Sydney for a week and another will be in NZ. Diaorg nih nak slaughter either kangaroo, koala, or sheep kut? Hehehe..have fun guys..

Ok then..time to go. Let's plan something for tomorrow!

Surprise eh? I am so sorry for the long silence.
Blame the TM! Hahaha...I don't when I'll be able to connect to the Net via the streamyx.

And thanks to the wireless broadband (even though it's still slow, but better than nothing!)

Cut it short, let me give some updates!

1) It's been a while, and it's almost a month in KL and I have stayed in this convenient rented place for almost 2 weeks. I like it and so far so good. (Although I guess my downstair neighbour had purposely knocked on my front door and claiming this and that - "paip bocor laa, blah blah blah....") --> which is not my fault!

2) Work's fine. I'm catching up eventhough sometimes I think I really have to "play the game" well. Switch to your survival mode, honey!

3) Love life? Hahaha...still sucks! Don't worry....be happy! I have got nothing to lose anyway. Good things come for those who wait. And it's proven. But...I thought I'll be having good, fun Saturday nite, but again...I ended up sitting in front of TV, flipping thru' the satellite channels. Phew...

4) AH was thinking of sending me his gym membership. I am not so sure whether I'm going to take that up. But it's tempting...

5) Adre came and paid me a visit and boasting on all his adik angkats...hahaha, whatever. I'm not losing anyway...young chaps normally are hot blooded species! (Aku nih dah tua ke? Blum lagi kan....hikhikhik)

I guess that's all for now. Time to create more friends and acquaintances.

Auld Lang Syne...Farewell!

Dear Beautiful readers (including the comel ones! )

Yesterday was a...errm..how can i put this? It's a mixed feeling..it's a fun yet sad day. I am leaving my place of work and transfer back to KL.

They (my friends and colleagues) arranged two sets of farewell parties for me yesterday (both formal and informal, the formal one where it's a "joint- celebration, with one of our big bosses who is also leaving for KL).

It's a blessing in disguise. After few years of a mere patience, I am finally moving back to KL.

Now i am at home, busy doing the cleaning up and packing, all by myself.

The movers are coming tomorrow, hope everything will be absolutely fine.

Kerja gila!

Dear Beautiful readers,

Last night, on my way back to More's place, we stopped at Fella Ampang as he wanted to check out some good bargains. I just followed him and didn't really intend to buy stuff from that shop.

But guess what? Me being me...ended up buying a 2 seater sofa and two kids' chairs. Crazy eh? But the bargains were totally unbelievable!! ;-) They will send the goods to my place once I reconfirmed with my movers.

Almost 70% discount!

I text-ed Adi later that night and he was still in Singapore. On the way back to KL.

I am done with packing and leaving for my ex-place (not "ex" place, but my place prior moving to KL).
Lots of other packing to be done back there.

By the way, now I am sort of "in line" with my new nature of work. Hope everything will be better.

Went to Pavi after Zuhur and bought a pair of shoes, two pairs of pants and two pairs of shirts.
Then headed to Dome for a late lunch, while melayan gig at the concourse.

It's was raining outside and I have to wait for the rain to stop before walking back to my place.

Later, More will pick me up as I have to keep some of my stuff at his place.

Aku tak sihat sikit, since last nite, probably salah makan. Here are some of the updates:

1) My position has been finalised. So I can proceed further ;-)
2) Yesterday, a colleague of mine treated us for a nice lunch at "Halalan Toyyiba, Wong Solo, Ampang". An Indonesian restaurant. Nice food - Ayam Bakar, Daging Tumbuk etc etc. Tapi kan...

Aku balik keje je terus rasa loya, pening2 etc. Nasib baik tak muntah kat office!

3) Had a good conversation with mum last nite. Dah lama dah takde conversation mcm nih. I love you mother! ;-)

4) My sis & bro-in-law safely arrived in the holy Makkah from Madinah this morning.

5) I am slowly "learning" about the office problem / politics / issues at my current workplace. Funny though...but be careful!

Went out with Adi yesterday afternoon for lunch etc. But petang tuh More called me and asked whether I wanted to come to his house tonite for the Sehati Berdansa. FYI, in my room there's no Astro Ria. I was supposed to meet Shil and accompanied her to the UK Education Fair held at the KL Convention Centre, but we've changed plan. Probably i'll go there this afternoon.

At this point of time, just came back from shopping. Bought some stuff (memang aku dah plan pun...as follows):

My first day at my new workplace.
Not much differences, as I knew some of my "new" colleagues.

But it's a different environment,different game plan..
And I am sure, my new boss will support me.
And it's time to improve myself, mentally and physically!

Case #2
My sis and her husband are leaving for Makkah tonite. As at this point of time (when I am writing this), they are at Kelana Jaya and soon leaving for KLIA.
I won't be able to meet them there but I have telephoned my sis.

Wish them well and hopefully we'll see them back in Malaysia with full of barakah..

Welcome on Board!

Dear Beautiful readers,

I wasn't in the office yesterday.

I was in KL (i didn't bring my laptop and so there's no blog posting)

My future boss (in the same Company but different division) wanted to meet me to discuss on my transfer matter. Yeah, she keep repeating that it is CONFIRMED that I am moving back to KL. Probably much sooner than i thought. November? Welcome on Board!

Errm...should i feel a bit relief on this issue? Errmm...I guess, I just wait and see, and of course, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Overall, everything went smoothly.

Met Kos for lunch (we had lunch at 4 p.m. and I was waiting for him at KL Sentral since 2 p.m!) We did discuss some of the "financial matters" and I guess I can rely on Kos to handle the "portfolios". Everything should be allright. At the same time, Kos brought me the fruit bon-bons bought in Harrods last time (I was supposed to collect it earlier but since we hadn't had much time to meet).

Oh, by the way, while waiting for Kos, there was a handicapped person in a wheelchair selling souvenirs. Errmm...initially i thought of not to buy the keychain but then well...i think there's no harm of doing good deed (of course we have to "bersangka baik" and don't pre-judge people). Who knows there will a good karma for me?

Dear Beautiful Readers,

First day at work after cuti raya.

There's a new cute chic at work, originally from the same state as me i.e. my hometown.

I can't say that I was not in good mood to do my work, but the speed was not as I have expected earlier. Lots of things to do and have to rush here and there.

Left office quite early as I have to meet Abg Lan & Wati at one of the golf course nearby my place. We had the steamboat (it sucks anyway, but makan je laa...) and arrived home almost 9.

Esok aku rasa nak buat entry pasal mandi bunga (aku rasa cam kena curse recently...apsal eh?)

Mandi Bunga: Floral bath ritual, is very simple. The unwed woman / man purchases several types of fragrant flowers, coconut leaves, betel leaves, betel nuts, limau purut and okar sintok. The purchases are presented to the bomoh, Malay medicine man. He says an incantation over the ingredients. The ingredients are placed in a vessel of water. The bomoh scatters grains of uncooked rice around the maiden.

Raya

Dear Beautiful readers,

Raya hol was normal for me.

Nothing that significant. From my personal point of view, it's the time to strengthen the relationship with family members, friends, catching up on latest news of each other and so on.

And another thing is about "makan".

Unfortunately, this year, I haven't got the opportunity to try satay.

I had ketupat palas, lontong, nasi minyak, nasi dagang, kuzi ayam..but to no avail, no satay!

Fine then, takde rezeki kut..

I left my hometown on Saturday morning and thank God the journey was fine, although as expected there were many cars on the road, all the way to my current place in this northern region. Bonda packed me some food and thank God to that as I couldn't be bothered to find any makan place on the day since I arrived home about noon. It's lunch time baby!

Later that nite, T, E & Far came to my place for a simple pot luck.We had pizzas, choc cupcakes, kek lapis Sarawak, cookies, ketupat etc. There were only us left and other friends haven't arrived from their respective locations.

P/S: I am kinda missed that "smile"...urghh!

Sunday, 28th September 2008
Driving to my hometown early in the morning at 8 a.m. sharp.
Thank God the weather was OK, but I didn’t really expect that they were quite many cars on the road, not as the previous years that I can drive in peace.

Probably the timing wasn’t that right.
Expected to arrive home at 12ish, but due to major traffic jam at Tanah Merah & Pasir Mas, I ended up at home at 2ish. Nevermind, at least I arrived home in one piece!

Had a wonderful iftar with mum, dad, Herry and my niece, Naj.

Later that night went out with Lin & Akram and we had late dinner at A&W. We had the usual “catching up” rituals and Lin just currently soooOooo into her new hobby, -> “professional photography”!

Monday, 29th September 2008
Right after sahur, I received text messages from Fakh.
After a few messages (while I was still daydreaming and in the midst of having short nap), we planned for an iftar later that day.

I had no idea where are we going to have our iftar. After consulting sis & Herry (and due to last minute arrangement), I managed to book a table for two at Grand Riverview Hotel – Riveira Café.

Good food, nice ambience, and another “catching up” rituals with Fakh.
Yes, I haven’t met him for so long and I guess the last time I met him in KL were about 3-4 years back.

And yes, both of us changed!

Later after iftar, I accompanied Fakh for some last minutes shopping in the town. And again it was nice to do that.

And then, I was thinking about my “annual General meeting” with Che Man and the gang – i.e. Wan Maz & Jaz. Every raya, we had this get together session – minum2, “catching up rituals” etc in the town. Jaz couldn’t make it as he had some matters to be settled with family and ended up it’s only me, Che Man & Wan Maz. We ended up having tea in the stalls near the stadium and later we head to the Pantai Cahaya Bulan (formerly known as Pantai Cinta Berahi) for another drinks and “colek”. Another interesting nights, full of interesting topics, gossips etc etc.

Ended up going back home at 1.30 a.m. (no more curfew this time!)


P/S: Colek is a type of food, i think I can call it as snacks.

Tuesday, 30th September 2008.
It’s Reyna’s birthday and I did send her a birthday wish last night.
Nothing much happened at home. Only managed to assist mum doing the household chores and last minute shopping. Anyway, I didn’t manage to get the replacement for my original leather cover for my phone. I lost it during the night when I attended that charity program at work. Shit!

Couldn’t find it next day. Takde rezeki kut..Alhamdulillah

And I realized that today there’s unstoppable messages coming through my phone and of course, it’s RAYA! I wish my phone keep receiving not only during raya, but also during the normal days.

Another day dream of an average joe like me! ;-)

Eid Mubarak!

I think it's time for me to wish Eid Mubarak, although I know some of my dear readers might have to work during raya (sob...sob!).

Anyway, I should have gone back to my hometown today in KB this morning, but due to some work commitment, then I have to postpone my journey tomorrow morning.Hope everything will be smooth.

Buka Puasa @ Work (2nd Time)

Bored huh? Aku takde idea, but I feel like writing..

Another buka puasa day @ work. Before cuti raya nih...banyak benda kena settle. I went to see the big boss this morning and took the opportunity to ask on my latest status of transfer to the HQ. He said that it'll be materialised, and it's just matter of time. But being in this Company, then he said that even if I already received the transfer letter, the "event" might be prolonged, or even worse...will not materialize at all!

And again, it's not really a major problem as I go with the flow and play the "game". But there is another issue on my fellow colleague (not really in my department but in another department). I was quite surprised with what he had done to me and other fellow close friends...no wonder laa takut2 tadi time nampak aku!

Siot betul...

Esok ada program with Anak2 Yatim / Underprivileged kids at my workplace sempena Raya celebration.
Another hectic day laa kut...but most of friends /colleagues dah balik ke kampung halaman masing2..

P/S: Tak rasa cam nak raya..

Buka Puasa @ Work

Dear Beautiful readers,

It was my first time this year in this holy month of Ramadhan that aku bukak puasa kat office.

My meal at work for iftar : Mihun Goreng, Kuih dua ketul, mango juice

Not that I meant to, but I don't know...I feel "obliged" to do that today. And I have done this before.

So it's not really a big deal.


Well...this morning during lunch time, I assisted my staff to arrange the money accordingly that we've exchanged from the banks to be allocated to the staff in our department. It was fun, but in a way, we have to be careful, afraid that we might miscalculate the money. But nothing bad happened.




I reached home at 9 p.m. G asked me out for coffee but I felt a bit lazy to go out.


Anyway, another busy day tomorrow.


P/S: Too many individuals, too many preferences, too many thinking, everyone of us is UNIQUE!

Anak2 buah

I missed my anak2 buah, although sometimes they act like the Rugrats..

Probably because aku kat umah sorang2, then whenever I go back to kampung, the life is totally different!

Aku dah lama tak update my blog. Lazy? No ideas? No time?

Let me summarize all the past activities as per below:

1) Thursday, 18th September 2008

I attended the feedback session in regards to my previous assessment session, which happened on Wednesday, 17th September 2008. I wasn't really satisfied with the outcome.

I wasn't sure whether it's the true me or not.

Initially the assessor gave good remarks on me and all of sudden, dush!! Aku rasa cam the summary wasn't that fair! But anyway, pikir punya pikir...aku rasa, there's a blessing in disguise.

Aku terima je...no point of being in argument with her (rugi air liur je bulan2 Ramadhan nih!)

Petang tuh, aku rush ke KLIA. I'm catching flight to KB, balik kampung and jumpa parents & family members,bukak puasa etc. Lagipun aku jarang balik, in a year I think I can count on how many times I've been with them especially with mum & dad. Biasa laa nature keje aku...(alasan!)

As usual, mum will cook something special. Petang tuh kami bukak puasa ngan nasi beriyani ayam. Macam biasa, umah aku riuh ngan anak2 buah aku laa

2) Friday, 19th September 2008

Aku cuti lagi today. Thank God that i didn't "receive" any "calls" from work.

Bukannya apa, normally kadang2 tuh..cuti macam tak cuti, tuh yang tak best.

I know that there are lots of work waiting for me at work, but for the time being, I just want to chill at home! Heheh

Actually, I was craving for Nasi Dagang and I went to the Bazaar Ramadhan near the Stadium.

Surprise, surprise! No one sell Nasi Dagang there! So ended up beli Ayam Percik & Daging bakar from the famous Yati Ayam Percik. (Sorry takde gambar, aku pening nak snap photos time2 org ramai...)

Shopping day with mum.

Aku bawak bonda pi beli barang2. Well..mcm nih laa keja aku everytime kalau balik kampung, especially time2 raya nih. Tak kisah pun, bonda sapa...bonda aku gak kan?

Petang tuh finally managed to get nasi dagang, went to this another bazaar ramadhan in the town with my younger brother.Kenyang seh!

4) Sunday, 21st September 2008

Time to go back to my workplace. Bosan betul.

Petang tuh aku gi bukak puasa umah Nas & Dilla, siap kena jadik imam isyak & terawih kat umah depa.

Me and the normal crowd, after the prayers, we ended up main Taboo sambil2 tgk bola Chelsea vs MU.

And I knew it's going to rain tremendously!

Yeah..

Memang semalam lebat gila ujan sini, best tido! Tapi teman je takde...;-(

And today, it's MONDAY. I wasn't really looking forward for today as I know that it'll be hectic. But Alhamdulillah, it passed by smoothly eventhough pagi tuh aku macam tak bercakap sangat ngan my staff. Siap one of my staff tegur aku apsal aku tak tegur dia tadi...hehehe

Ramadhan in KL

I'm currently in KL, ada hal keje skit.

Went out with ER for iftar yesterday kat Pavi. As usual, whenever I am with him, definitely there must be something to talk about. Hahah! (Berangan kan i,ER?). Went to Madam Kwan's @ Pavi with ER for iftar.

NASI BOJARI (sedap!)

ABC (typical...but not too bad!) FRIED SQUID PLATTER (nyum2...) Habis Nasi Bojari aku...(nampak sangat pelahap!)
Anyway, Alhamdulillah, my assessment went quite well today (that's what I personally thought!, but the feedback will only come back tomorrow!). We'll see how it goes ya?

I dropped by Toys R Us on my way back to the hotel. Bought the "pending birthday presents" for the three nieces. Dah lama dah depa mintak, aku yang tak sempat2...;-)

I'm leaving for my hometown tomorrow for ramadhan session with the family members.
Now it's getting more expensive to have iftar in KL (i'm not that keen of makan banyak anyway..so I guess, it's not really worth it)

Can't be long. Nak pi bukak puasa ngan Addy.
